Post Call of Juarez
Most people here are from the Call of Juarez forums so they already know this game very well. For you new folks if you're into western games you should give this game a try. This is the game that got me into westerns ever since the first one came out in 2007.
In fact the writer of the story is actually a member of our community and this one as well :amile2 So if you need a game to hold you untill May 18th check out Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.

Usually on Friday evenings a Juarez skirmish game is going down on XBOX360....if there's room, jump in and join the outlaws...

Tass is right, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is my favorite campaign of all time. RDR looks like it will be a much broader game in terms of available gameplay types but, Rockstar has it's work cut out as far as storyline goes. COJ BiB is a gripping story that makes sense and pulls you into the world of the McCalls. I know the guys at Techland have been watching the COJ Fans forums for input so, I'm sure they will be all over RDR. Looking forward to Tuesday and can't wait for COJ 3.

I have finished RDR, it is a great game for sure but call of juarez series is still the best western games for me. With Outlaws, of course.

:cheers

The story from CoJ may be fantastic, but you can't compare anything between games within reason. Redemption is in a class of its own.

True, just like the constant attempts by some to compare Modern Warfare 2 to Bad Company 2. It's just opinions anyway but, they are apples and oranges, both fruit but totally different. CoJ and RDR share the western theme but that's where the similarity ends. However, the next CoJ could be a even more monumental game if they tear a page out of the Rockstar playbook... :ugly

It's like the constant comparison of GTA4 to RDR, yes it's open world games and by same company but still none is better then the other. If you wana ride a horse, GTA4 really is not good at that and vice versa.
